Data Governance

Initiated developing a governance forum to monitor, manage, and resolve ongoing business requirements toward a single data architecture. Established a division-wide (7 business units and 4 horizontal functions) data governance framework and ensured adherence to data policies, standards, and practices.  

Priorities from the business led the requirements process and overall governance perspective, bringing business and IT/Ops together intentionally to draft a data strategy.

 
 

The Solution

Collaborated with the VP of Business Intelligence to determine data strategy, identify stakeholders, and manage governance forum.

Led data change management efforts including communications and training in literacy and culture change of a governance framework, key job personas, and overall playbook.

Developed immediate, near/long-term goals and roadmaps to implement the data governance program for the consumer division under the guidance of the VP and organizational leadership.
